Residential Rental Unit Registration Informational Sessions Rescheduled Due to Impending Snow
Hanover, Pa. – In light of the impending winter storm, the Borough of Hanover Department of Code Enforcement has RESCHEDULED its two, free informational sessions and added an additional session about the Residential Rental Registration renewal process. The sessions will now be held on Tuesday, February 10, 2026 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. In addition, another session, geared toward landlords with multiple properties, will be held on Tuesday, February 17, 2026 from 3:00 to 5:00 PM. All sessions will be held at the Guthrie Memorial Library – Bare Center (Lower Level).
As of January 1, 2026, the Borough’s Residential Rental Unit Registration process became fully electronic. Registrations, which are normally due by January 31st, are due this year by March 31st, allowing additional time for customers to learn and adapt to the platform. The informational sessions are intended for all Borough landlords, property management companies, and property owners to provide step-by-step guidance on completing renewals using the Borough’s online system.
Lisa Graham-Herrick, Residential Rental Registration and Vacant Property Coordinator, will be available to guide attendees through the registration process using the Borough’s IWorQ platform, answer questions, and assist with setting up or accessing location accounts. The sessions are primarily tutorial in nature, focusing on how to complete renewals, locate required information, and manage future updates within the system.
Attendees may bring their own laptops if desired; free internet access will be available at the library. Borough staff will also have laptops on hand to assist participants. Because the program is fully electronic, no printing is required, and all confirmations and documents will be provided via email through the IWorQ system.
Landlords are encouraged to bring:
* A complete list of tenants
* Any required property management forms, which are available on the Borough’s website at https://www.hanoverboroughpa.gov/351/Residential-Rental-Unit-Registration
Paper copies of the Landlord Form, Tenant Form, and Property Management Forms will be available at the sessions for those who prefer to complete them by hand. Completed paper forms will be collected and uploaded on behalf of attendees as a one-time courtesy.
Advance registration is not required; however, attendees who are able to indicate which session they plan to attend are encouraged to contact the Borough office at 717-637-3877 ext. 1017. This will help staff plan for attendance.
A representative from IWorQ will be available remotely during the sessions to assist with any technical questions that may arise.
Property management companies are strongly encouraged to send a representative to one of the sessions or to schedule an individual meeting with Lisa Graham-Herrick, as these accounts often involve multiple locations and additional requirements.
For questions or additional information, please contact Lisa Graham-Herrick at 717-637-3877 ext. 1015 or via email at LHerrick@HanoverBoroughPA.gov.
