Hanover, PA – Main Street Hanover proudly celebrated the ribbon cutting for Fresh Flours Bakery, which officially opened its doors on Friday, December 5th, bringing a warm new addition to downtown’s growing small business community. Located at 1 Center Square, Suite 100, Fresh Flours Bakery offers a unique blend of wholesome baked goods, cozy atmosphere, and even a book nook—creating a one-of-a-kind experience where your favorite bakery and bookstore collide.
Fresh Flours Bakery stands apart through its commitment to health, quality, and transparency. The bakery mills its own flour on-site, using whole grain wheat that naturally contains 40 of the 44 essential nutrients needed for life—that’s 91% of the nutrient types our bodies need to thrive. True whole grain is rich in antioxidants, protein, fiber, phytochemicals, and minerals, making it a powerhouse ingredient that supports wellness and flavor.
By milling fresh flour and baking from scratch, Fresh Flours avoids the preservatives, additives, and chemical treatments commonly found in store-bought baked goods. Every loaf, cookie, and pastry is crafted with care, honoring the nutritional integrity of the grain and the tradition of homemade baking.
Co-owned by sisters Kalena Bartoszak and Katara Vasher, Fresh Flours Bakery grew from their shared vision to bring healthy, homemade, and farm-to-table quality to the Hanover community. Their shop also features a welcoming book nook, inviting guests to linger with a good read while enjoying artisanal treats.
