Heritage Valley Federal Credit Union and Employees Contributed $5,108 to Local York Nonprofits in 2024

York, PA – January 2025 – Heritage Valley Federal Credit Union is proud to announce that its employees, through their quarterly “Casual for a Cause” program, donated a total of $5,108 in 2024 to four local nonprofit organizations. The contributions, which include employee donations matched by the Credit Union, underscore Heritage Valley’s commitment to supporting the community. 
 The 2024 nonprofits selected by employees to receive donations this year where: 
 
• Building Bridges for Brianna: A local organization dedicated to mental health awareness and suicide prevention.

• Not One More York: A nonprofit focused on combating the opioid epidemic and supporting those affected by substance abuse.

• Pink Hands of Hope: A charity that provides assistance and resources to breast cancer patients and survivors.

• Operation Paws for Home: An organization dedicated to rescuing and finding loving homes for dogs in need.

“Casual for a Cause” is an annual initiative where employees voluntarily contribute a portion of their paychecks to these charities and Heritage Valley matches these donations, doubling the impact of their generosity.
