Hanover High School Launches New Esports Team with State of the Art Esports Gaming Arena!

Hanover High School is excited to offer their very own Esports team, a new and dynamic addition to the school's extracurricular and academic offerings. This initiative is part of the district's mission to inspire all students to achieve their full potential and to become productive citizens in a global community, while developing skills for the future. The Esports team not only offers students a chance to compete in popular and competitive games, but also fosters teamwork, strategic thinking, and leadership opportunities as they compete against teams regionally, nationally, and internationally.

To accommodate the newly established Esports team, Hanover High School has created a state-of-the-art gaming arena. This space will be used by the varsity team, as well as by students in elective courses, as part of the STEAM Academy Certification Program.  The Nighthawk Esports Arena expands the previously established hands-on programs including, Robotics and Artificial Intelligence, Virtual Reality, Drone Piloting FAA Certification, Music Technology, and Mechatronics.
