Hanover Borough Police Department Partnering With Operation Claus
HANOVER, PA — The Hanover Borough Police Department is proud to announce its partnership with Operation Claus, a non-profit organization sponsored by the Hanover Area Fire and Rescue. The Police Department is requesting donations of toys and clothing to benefit local families in need.
Since the Police Department is currently undergoing renovations, the donation box will be located in the lobby of the Borough of Hanover Public Administration Building located at 33 Frederick Street. Donations may be dropped off Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
One hundred percent of all donations will be given to children and their families within the Hanover Public School District and the South Western Public School District.
Operation Claus is requesting donations of toys and clothing for children of all ages. Additionally, donations may be made for adults, since Operation Claus strives to provide something for everyone in the child’s household. Gift cards for Walmart and Giant Foods will also be accepted, as Operation Claus staff will use those gift cards to purchase gifts for the families.
All donations will be collected on December 4, 2026, to prepare them for delivery. Please join the Hanover Borough Police Department in spreading joy this holiday season by donating to this wonderful cause.
