FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: HANOVER BOROUGH POLICE ADVISE OF TRAFFIC ALERT

The following message is provided by the Hanover Borough Police Department.
 
On Saturday, October 5, 2024, traffic will be limited, and parking restrictions will be in place due to the Hanover Area YMCA Half Marathon / Snacktown RunFest.
 
Parking restrictions begin at 7:00 a.m. Saturday, October 5, 2024, and end at approximately 11:30 a.m., with the race starting at 8:00 a.m. in front of the Hanover YMCA on George Street.  
 
The following Borough streets will be affected by the run:  George Street, Ridge Avenue, Wilson Avenue, Moul Avenue, Fame Avenue, E. Walnut Street, Grant Drive, Washington Avenue, and Broadway. Parking will be restricted on the east side of Moul Avenue, from Ridge Avenue to Grant Drive, and on the west side of Moul Avenue, from Grant Drive to Fame Avenue.  
 
Motorists are encouraged to use alternate routes and residents should plan their travels accordingly.
