Hanover, PA – Main Street Hanover is spreading holiday cheer with a special screening of the beloved Christmas film Elf (2003) at the Eichelberger Performing Arts Center onSaturday, November 29, 2025, as part of the annual Christmas in Hanover Festival.
Families and fans alike are invited to relive the magic and laughter of this modern holiday favorite starring Will Ferrell as Buddy the Elf. After accidentally crawling into Santa Claus’s gift sack as a baby, Buddy grows up at the North Pole believing he’s one of Santa’s elves. His oversized presence causes chaos in Santa’s workshop, leading him on a heartfelt and hilarious journey to New York City to find his real family and discover where he truly belongs.

About the Eichelberger Performing Arts Center
The mission of the Eichelberger Performing Arts Center is to provide cultural enrichment and educational experiences for youth and adults. The Eichelberger Building, one of Hanover’s most iconic landmarks, has stood for over a century and boasts a 95-year legacy of education that began with Abdiel W. Eichelberger’s academy. Donated for public school use in 1900, his vision was for it to remain an institution of learning forever. Today, the building houses professional offices and the Eichelberger Performing Arts Center—continuing Captain Eichelberger’s mission by offering arts and educational programs that inspire and educate the community.
