Job Description
The Sales and Marketing Consultant is responsible for supporting company Sales initiatives, driving business and completing tasks and projects as assigned by the EVP of Sales.
Duties and Responsibilities:
*Sales Development
*Point of contact for assigned/obtained customers to follow-up/develop sales opportunities.
*Develop Relationships with Distributor Partners
*Proactively reach out to customers to introduce new products/services and providing customers relevant information about the products and services the company sells.
*Plan, organize and manage all sales activities.
*Work with inside sales support to ensure successful fulfilment and coordinate the customer involvement of other company personnel when needed, including support resources, team members and management.
*Provide customer services after selling the product or service.
*Evaluate market demand and try to meet customers’ needs and expectations.
*Learn and understand the CSR/Inside sales support process and perform these functions when necessary.
*Handle customer complaints and solve conflicts within the company
*Maintain a high level of product knowledge and promotional solutions
*Product Training
*Perform training when necessary
*Tradeshows/Events/Distributor Visits
*Participate at tradeshows and other events.
*Coordinate all initial follow-up with leads at events attended.
*Complete and submit presentation call report to be reviewed by management.
*Collaborate with Product Coordinator on New Products
*Quote follow-up
*Follow-up on quote above $1000
*Maintain follow-up CRM for quick review
*Product virtual, sales and marketing flyer requests
*Contact distributor to confirm needs
*Forward completed request to Order Entry
*Send and/or follows-up completed virtual to distributor
*Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
*Other tasks and duties as assigned.

Requirements and Qualifications:
*Excellent verbal and written communication skills
*Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently within a fast-paced environment.
*Self-motivated and self-directed, able to work independently and within a team
*High school degree or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree in business, or related sales field a plus.
*Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel) and Google Docs.
*Ideal candidate will have a positive attitude and be an adaptable problem-solver
*Ability to travel to Trade Shows

Job Type:
*Full-time, Hourly, Non-Exempt, Mon-Fri 8:30-5pm during office hours.  Weekend and evening hours during Trade Shows events.
