Hanover Area Chamber Seeks Collaborative Marketing & Events Coordinator
Are you a highly organized and creative marketing professional with a passion for community engagement? The Hanover Area Chamber of Commerce, a vital part of the Greater Hanover community since 1923, is looking for a Marketing & Events Coordinator to join our dynamic team.
In this pivotal role, you'll be instrumental in orchestrating and promoting our impactful events, including major annual highlights like the Snack Town Street Fair, popular Membership Mixers, and insightful Legislative Luncheons. You'll also craft compelling marketing content across our social media platforms, for our quarterly business publication, and in weekly email communications.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or related field
· 2+ years relevant marketing and event planning experience
· Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite
· Organization, deadline driven, attention to detail and self-starting character
· Ability to stand for extended periods for events and lift up to 30 pounds
A significant component of this position involves strategically partnering with our external marketing firm. You'll be the key liaison, providing engaging content, offering creative ideas, and ensuring our messaging is consistent and powerful across all channels. Your efforts will not only boost our Chamber's reach and member engagement but also play a crucial role in promoting Hanover as a vibrant tourism destination.
