PreSchool Teacher

YWCA of Hanover is looking for a fun and energetic lead teacher for our PreK classroom. This would consist of working with children ages four-five to plan and implement age-appropriate activities to prepare the class for Kindergarten. The class consists of 20 children with a lead teacher and an assistant teacher.
 
The candidate must be able to plan, implement, and organize developmentally appropriate activities for children ages three to five. Observe and assess each student's growth and development; maintain a positive, healthy, and safe learning environment, and promote positive and professional relationships with children and families. Communicate with parents and families in a positive manner, follow DHS regulations, and maintain STAR 4 standards.
 
Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED
• CDA or degree in Early Childhood strongly preferred
• 4 clearances (PA Criminal, Child Abuse, FBI, and NSOR)
• 2 recommendation letters
• Physical with TB test
• 2500 hours documented experience working with children
• Job Type: Full-time
• Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
