VNA of Hanover & Spring Grove Dedicates Florence M. deHaven Health & Wellness Center

Hanover, PA — June 12, 2026 — The VNA of Hanover & Spring Grove proudly celebrated the dedication of the Florence M. deHaven Health & Wellness Center on Friday, June 12, 2026 at its existing Madison Street location. The event began at 1:00 PM and brought together community leaders, healthcare partners, and supporters to honor the legacy of Florence M. deHaven and the future of community-based care.

The dedication recognizes Florence M. deHaven, the organization’s first nurse, whose compassion and commitment helped lay the foundation for the VNA’s mission of service to the community.

The event was made possible through the extraordinary generosity of Wesley D. Stick, Jr., whose transformational donation supported the future development of the Health & Wellness Center. Members of the Stick family were in attendance for the ceremony, joining in the celebration of Florence’s lasting legacy and the impact of this new space.

Attendees included York County Commissioner Julie Wheeler; Pennsylvania State Representatives Kate Klunk and Dan Moul; representatives from the Hanover Area Chamber of Commerce and the Adams County / Gettysburg Chamber of Commerce; members of the VNA Board of Directors; VNA volunteers and staff; and community partners.

The VNA also recognized its building partner, Katie Livelsberger, Director at Phoenix Physical Therapy, for her partnership and presence within the Health & Wellness Center.

The program featured remarks from VNA leadership, members of the Stick family, and community officials, followed by an official dedication and ribbon-cutting ceremony held at the building’s main entrance.

“This project represents not only an investment in a building, but in the continued health and well-being of our community,” said Kevin Maloney, President & CEO of the VNA of Hanover & Spring Grove. “We are deeply grateful to Wes Stick and his family for their generosity and ongoing commitment to honoring Florence’s legacy.”

The Florence M. deHaven Health & Wellness Center serves as a hub for care, collaboration, and community connection, further strengthening the VNA’s mission to provide compassionate, high-quality care to residents throughout the region.
