Barley Snyder Attorney Gregory Young Honored for Fifty Years of Service by the PA Bar Association

Reading, Pa. – Attorney Gregory R. Young has been recognized by the Pennsylvania Bar Association (PBA) for fifty years of membership. The PBA 50-year Member Awards were presented at its Annual Meeting last month in Hershey, Pa., honoring members who have been with the association for five decades.

The Pennsylvania Bar Association is a nonprofit voluntary professional membership association for lawyers and law students, offering a variety of benefits and services. Founded in 1895, the PBA plays an active role in legislative affairs and legal reform in addition to serving as a resource for networking opportunities and continuing legal education throughout the Commonwealth. Young is a member of the Pennsylvania and Berks County Bar Associations.

An attorney in Barley Snyder’s Business, Real Estate and Tax practice groups for more than 25 years, Young focuses his practice on assisting clients in an array of commercial and corporate law matters. He is based in firm’s Reading, Pa. office and formerly served on its management committee, internal opinion review committee, and mergers and acquisitions second review committee. Dedicated to his community, Young serves as pro bono counsel for Habitat for Humanity of Berks County. He also previously served on the St. Joseph Medical Center Physician Transaction Review Committee.

“Fifty years of law practice and membership in the bar is an uncommon achievement,” said attorney Timothy G. Dietrich who is based in the firm’s Reading office. “All of us at Barley who have been privileged to work with and learn from Greg offer our congratulations to him on reaching this milestone and our thanks for his example of collegiality and professional excellence.”
