Farmers Insurance is coming to Hanover, PA!
New agency looking for a full-time licensed insurance professional. You’ll have the opportunity to grow a flourishing business, all while making a difference in people’s lives. Responsibilities (include, but not limited to:)
- Develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and market appropriate products and services.
- Acquire new clients to our insurance agency by selling Auto, Homeowners, Renters, Life Insurance, and Commercial as well as other complimentary products available.
- Identify sales opportunities, prospect potential customers, and effectively close sales.
- Maintain customer files and activity in our agency management system.
- Ensure compliance with underwriting, rating, and regulatory requirements.
- Work with the agent to establish and meet marketing goals.
- Uphold a strong work ethic with a total commitment to success every day.
- Work alongside your agency’s team to ensure successful, exceptionally satisfying, and long-lasting customer relations.
- Meet daily phone time & sales quotas as directed by management.
- Complete company and regulatory educational/training requirements in a timely manner.
Qualifications
- Possess excellent communication skills.
- Patience and listening skills - leading to problem-solving.
- Display good analytical skills.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Proficiency in follow-thru and follow-up.
- Attention to detail and be able to follow documentation for procedures.
- Be coachable and open to constructive criticism.
- Ability to handle rejection, setbacks, and challenges inherent in sales and maintain motivation and persistence.

Requirements
- PA Property and Casualty license (or must be able to obtain).
- PA Life and Health license (or must be able to obtain).
- Excellent presentation skills.
- Ability to handle customer rejection.
- Self-confident and self-motivated, able to work independently.
- Goal-oriented mindset.
- Ability to pass pre-employment background/credit check.
- Bi-Lingual (Spanish/English) a plus, but not required.
