Machine/Facilities Maintenance

Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining and repairing production equipment and facilities while maintaining a safe and sanitary work environment.

Essential Functions:
1. Perform preventative maintenance, inspection, and repair on production equipment.
2. Troubleshoot equipment not functioning properly.
3. Read, understand, and follow equipment manufacturer's drawings and specifications.
4. Disassemble and reassemble machines according to manufacturers' specifications.
5. Use electrical schematics and drawings.
6. Troubleshoot, repair or replace VFD's and PLC's.
7. Perform basic welding and metal working tasks.
8. Maintain adequate stock levels of replacement parts for equipment.
9. Perform general facilities maintenance and upkeep.
10. Prioritize work load and work under pressure.
11. Be a self-starter, able to effectively work alone or in a team environment.
12. Use computers for data collection, record keeping, and analysis.
13. Comply with safety regulations/procedures and maintain clean and orderly work area.
14. Must be willing to accept and receive supervision and assistance with regard to maintenance functions and other essential tasks as assigned.
15. Able to lift 50 lbs., bend and twist throughout the work day.

At least 5-10 years' experience working in a maintenance role desired. The position comes with great benefits and pay which starts at $21.00 per hour. This position is first shift, 8am-5pm Monday through Friday. Flexibility with hours and the ability/willingness to work between 5-10 hours of overtime per week is required.

Employment is on a temp to hire basis through a local staffing agency. Once applicant has completed the required contract hours and met performance standards, permanent employment will begin. Hours worked under the temp arrangement are credited toward service time and benefits eligibility.
