A Survivor's Story as told by her niece
Mrs. Lola Hahn will share the story of her aunt, Helen Jonas, born Helena Sternlicht in Krakow, Second Polish Republic in 1925. Mrs. Jonas is a Holocaust survivor, now 94, who was interned during WWII at the Plaszow concentration camp where she was forced to work as a maid for SS camp commandant Amon Goeth. In her presentation, Mrs. Hahn relates the story of her family’s survival because of Oskar Schindler. Registration is Required.
